Mali user space integration is more or less completed. Mali is packaged but I haven't been able to verify if it works as expected because the kernel mali driver hasn't been merged yet.
wrt Koen's comment to use modesetting driver, it didn't work. Only fbdev works at the moment. I haven't investigated further why modesettings fails to load.
