Just for anyone interested, I got this from a Lemaker sales rep today:

'And for HiKey board, we do not release it yet. The formal production will be finished in next month'

It looks like the board can be bought from http://www.lenovator.com/product/86.html and http://www.lenovator.com/product/90.html (2GB RAM version).
