Hi,
Is FTP supported on bluetooth using Linux/Debian on HiKey? Chase (CCed) said he was able to transfer files using Android build on HiKey. From what I can see, the only supported profile on Linux is a2dp.

A2DP was the only profile we used and tested on the HiKey release (needed BT audio). Headset profile might work as will, but IIRC there was problem with BlueZ5 and this profile. Other profiles will likely require some work.

HFP/HSP with Bluez5 is a bit complicated, as it requires a sync between oFono and Pulseaudio (the ofono backend only supports HFP, while native only HSP).
So this needs some more investigation to get the right instructions in place (and to see if the packages are built with the right configs and such).
A2DP is easier since the support relies on pulseaudio mostly.
Cheers,

OK, I take it as 'no' :) I will skip this part of validation.
